Just changed my primary fluid. What a PITA to see where the level should be.
Can someone simplify exactly where it should show when full?
They need to put a dipstick on the damn thing.

On my 07 the level is 1 inch below the opening of the clutch cover when in the side stand. Exactly one quart of your choice of oil.

Just Put in what yur Owners Manuel says it's like 28 oz , and don't worry about it ......

actually it says owners "manuel" so its apparently a person you must ask?

I just had the same trouble its just under 1qt........I added 29 oz and it was about right...heres what I did i took the old oil out I had someone hold up the bike and filled it with 29 oz ....at this point make a self note of where the level was after the 29 ozs

IF you took the time to look at yours and also the service manual which I do happen to have, there is a very crappy picture that you have to correlate to the actual clutch basket. Its very hard to see in the bike.
No reason to be a Jackass about it.
You do have a nice bike though.
