Just changed my primary fluid. What a PITA to see where the level should be.
Can someone simplify exactly where it should show when full?

I just had the same trouble its just under 1qt........I added 29 oz and it was about right...heres what I did i took the old oil out I had someone hold up the bike and filled it with 29 oz ....at this point make a self note of where the level was after the 29 ozs
IF you took the time to look at yours and also the service manual which I do happen to have, there is a very crappy picture that you have to correlate to the actual clutch basket. Its very hard to see in the bike.
No reason to be a Jackass about it.
You do have a nice bike though.
