placed my order tonite for some BR Customs bars for my nitetrain.
I ordered the 1 1/2 inch broomstick tbars. They are 28 inches wide, i went with a 4 inch riser, and 2 inches of pullback just to give a slight bend for the wrists.
Excellent customer service. He walks through every detail to make sure the exact bars you want and the exact measurements.
I went with a 4 inch rise to have that slammed/drag bike look; 28 inches will make these bars perfect for lane splitting here in cali and still give me enough width for leverage/countersteering...
the 1 1/2 inches thick will look good with the Marzocchi inverted forks and the ridewright fat 50 front rim and beefy front tire
Very cool! Those will look great on your bike. What kind of lead time did he give you on those?
he said the usual 4 weeks, BUT since it is a basic/simple design and he is sending them to me raw, he was saying about 2 weeks- in fact was commenting that he might start workin on them as soon as my paypal hits his account.
Scary was after orderin i was lookin at the 1 1/2 inch Chimp Bars. But i like the straight T-bars better i think they will flow with the bike better.
ok here are some "phone" pics of the bars being installed on my nitetrain. These bars are "perfect" for me. They are the perfect width and will be incredible for lanesplitting here in socal.
My Legends suspension gets returned to me in the mornin and then the bike will be back together in time for a quick ride this weekend....
