getting ready to order apes for my 09 deluxe.Just can't decide on 14" or 12.5" I am only 5'6 thinking the 12.5 with a 1.5 riser.
What do ya think black pearl cables or stainless.thanks

 

If you go with the 12.5s then you can change the risers easier to make the bars fit better. the 14s may be a bit too tall for ya. not really sure. I had 16s on my nt and loved them, but if I wanted to go lower, I couldnt. so I asuggest the 12.5s for adjustment using risers. The cables are youre descision, I like my sterling chromite cables, but they are on a night train.....

 

Go with the 14" and a lower riser. I'd say to go with the stainless cables, unless you like the black look better.

I'm 5'11" and am gonna order mine tonight: 18" with 3/4" risers.

 

With your fat daddy wheels I'd go stainless cables too to keep the theme.

 

Not sure on your style of Bar's but road6customs.com (R6C) has great bars for cheap $. $160.00 shipped. I'm 5'8" and have 14's. The hand postion is @ 12" even though the bars are 14's. Good luck.

 

JMO, 14" Carlini Gangster Apes with SS cables would look absolutely sick on your Deluxe.

 

14"'s. Stainless braided lines with the whitewalls and all. I like the Carlini's myself. One day I'll get some too. The 1.5" ones.

 

carlinis yes im 5 8 and went with 1 inch riser and 17 inch streetfighter apes looks good comfort way good dont be scared to go 16 in total

 

I think I read on here somewhere to get some pvc pipe and make the bars I think I will try this before I order some bars 14's sound awesome but I don't want them to be to high
