anybody running them? i have a buddy who is closing his shop and will sell me one for under 2000. ( I am gonna help him shut his shop for him) i have a 98 fatboy with 36,000 on the clock. I am 90% sure i am going to do this but just wanted some other opinions.

Save your money, let sombody else buy it! Dont feel OBLIGATED because this is your friend, and you feel like you need to buy his motor! Im sure he will find somebody else to buy it in time. They dont have the greatest reputation!

I'd buy it RIGHT NOW, even if I didn't use it in my own bike. You can always double your money on e-bay with that easy. That's got to be a 6-7 thousand dollar engine, and if you can get it for under 2K you can easily turn a profit.

No way a Revtech is that much.
They are a Korean engine and have been known to blow up on more than a few occasions....
