Guys I desperately need your help.
I own a 2007 Heritage Softail Classic (FLSTC) with the detachable windshield and the passing lamps.
A month ago I acquired a set of HD wind deflectors (part number: 58125-90B).
The local Harley engineers insist that the said deflectors could not be installed on my bike because of the existence of the detachable windshield and the passing lamps.
Since I am ready to enter the mental hospital could any of you US experts advise your Greek friend if the said deflectors actually fit on my ride and if so are there any instructions available apart from the HD instructions which are completely vague and incomplete.
Thanking you in advance
Manny
hey hellas manny. i just put them on my 08 flstc should be the same.first make sure the bent part on the side is pointing back and the bent part on the top is pointing forward.remove the lower bolt first and install deflector put bolt back in only acouple of turns to make sure it is threaded right. then do the top bolt.you might have to apply some pressure to line it up snug up the top bolt then the bottom then tighten them up.maybe some one here can tell you how much to torque them to. norm
