Default Mia / pow

As a military retiree, I wanted to pay tribute to MIA’s and POW’s and incorporate something into my Train. Originally thought about airbrushing the rear fender or the sides of the tank. Found “MotorDog69” on the web and ordered one of his timing covers which is machined to accept medallion coins. The end result is exactly what I was after. Subtle yet noticeable.

Living in the Philippines as an Expat, the cover was a bit pricey after adding UPS shipping and Customs charges however the cost is insignificant compared to the price paid by brothers who never returned.

Just thought I’d share.

Looks good!

Whats it like living in PI? I visited there a few times while in the Navy. Probably changed a lot since then...

Nicely done. The coin blends in well with the bike.

Nice job, I am a vet and wear a pow/mia patch on my vest also. Support of those who served and gave all in my opinion is the least we can do. Nicely done.

I dig it.I have never been in the military. My Dad(now passed away) was in Vietnam in 1968 , was a member of 6th 31st 9th Infantry Division. I wear his patch on my vest and I'm damn proud. Thank you to all who have served and those serving now.

My other Bike frame is now Powder coated red.

Tin before Clear coat.

Really do need to get out and finish it.
