Default Crossbones oil plug

Hey guys, I want to change my oil, but I can't seem to see the drain plug. I bought the bike used and don't have the owners manual. Is it just the small hose under the oil tank thank is clamped to the metal lines to the engine? My dad's 97 Heritage Springer has a hose with a plug, there seems to be nothing like that on this bike.

Right side of the bike on the frame under the oil tank. Under where that hose you are talking about is. there is a real drain plug though, not like the older models. Do yourself a favor and get a manual too, it will pay for itself after 1 oil change.

Do you have a pic? Is it just a bolt on the frame? I don't see it, at least what I have in mind for a drain plug

Okay, if you are looking at the oil tank fill plug look down and back a little bit. Reach under the frame and you will find a 5/8" bolt there. I don't ahve a pic, and when I got my first Harley no one would even tell me that. They forced me to buy the service manual. I am sure someone with a pic will come along.

Check the pictures in this link, it's a 2005 fatboy, but the plug is in the same place:

On my 07 Heritage it's a 5/8 bolt that also has a spot in the middle for an allen wrench. It's in the frame and doesn't look like a drain plug until you pull it. Look under the left side and compare it to the right side. The bolt you want to remove is only on the left side.

This guy has a great site for do it yourself oil changes. Look around. He has pages for trans and primary changes too.
