Default 08 Night Train - Badlander seat vs stock seat

Hi Guys,

What, if anything, is the difference between the stock *** catcher and the Badlander?

They look to be pretty much the same

The stock seat is a badlander. But, it is not leather. I think the badlander Harley sells in the catalog is leather.

I'm pretty sure the badlander seat harley sells is pleather or some material other than leather. Atleast the one on the shelf in the Harley shop I saw wasn't leather.

You can get it in either vinyl or leather. About a $200 difference

Yep sure is the Badlander as the stock seat. I have the Badlander for pillions around town, The Le Pera Maverick for longer rides with pillion and the Le Pere Bare Bones (gel) to hurt my **** and look good (the bike) when riding solo.....

I had both for awhile. Wife said the badlander passenger pillion was like riding around on a 2x4, so swapped for the stocker off a softail standard. I didn't notice hardly any difference in the rider part, maybe a little wider. Passenger area was bigger, but still not terribly comfortable for the wife.

Scrapped that and went with a Saddlemen. Seats are the most subjective thing there is followed closely by handlebars.

Some dudes have a sore a$$ after an hour on ANY seat and some folks can ride all day on a lepera (hard as plywood).

Good luck and ride safe!
