Toughest thing about the train is the handlebars. They are not comfortable for long rides. Good for about two hours then my back starts to hurt and I ride 1 handed.
Yeah, my next change on the bike is either handlebars that reach back or some pullback risers. I just don't seem to be able to find any pullback risers for an 09 Night Train.
Look through all the different catalogs, there are a myriad of choices out there. I just added some 8" pullbacks to my NT. They made a world of difference.
The sun (and coolness) soaks into the blackness, heats the air and creates a "boundary layer" that creates less drag as you glide past the chrome ******. Just so you know, lol.

Hey Wide_Open you got any more pics of those bars and what kind are they and did you have to change your cables? That might be my next step before going with apes.
