Melt Down averted
Opened my headlight the other day to clean out some bug juice out and found this..
$3.49 for a new socket at the local autoparts store and its good as new

Good catch. 75 mph at night on a 2 lane road-not the time to find it.

With my luck not only would the road be a narrow country road. but it would be overgrown with trees and raining cats and dogs.
