Default deluxe 2up no problem..

Have an '09 Deluxe and ride 2 up with 125 lbs passenger.
No problems riding with standard stock shock setting and never bottomed out but ride only streets, highways, freeways. Need deluxe one piece sissy and and deluxe designed passen. seat for your bike if you buy? check out classifieds.

Yep, adjust the shocks if you need, but 2-up is not a problem on the Deluxe.

I had a sporty ....wanted something for the long road....I love my deluxe it has been awesome. Sounds like you have stumbled upon a turd of a dealer.
Try somewhere else and follow your heart if you like the deluxe.

Aaaahhhh, the truth comes out. Yes, the dealer was trying to sell you a RK, a more expensive bike. Dealer margins are very good for the touring bikes. You got some misinformation about the Deluxe because of that. Shame, shame on the dealer! As others have suggested, simply adjust the shocks on the Deluxe and that is all is needed. Simple as that.

Yup, raggin on another HD model just to sell ya a more expensive bike. As someone already stated...desparate! Go with the Deluxe...you will not be sorry!

Will NOT bottom out. I bought my Deluxe specifically for riding two up. Have no problems whatsoever.
