I see Carlini has added to bars for Springers to their line up. I was looking at the evil springers and they don't look knurled. They are 16" rise. Wouldn't the lack of knurling pose a problem?
My bars are not knurled and i got their risers which employ a set screw in each riser that holds them in place. It actually works better then knurling. I was surprised. I can stand on my floorboards and pull back as hard as possible while going over a bump (which is what used to make my bars move) and they go nowhere.

I looked at their risers, but didn't see any for the springer.....
I new about that, but now they are offerring springer specific bars. That negates the need for the adapter plate. I have seen one of these in person and I didn't like the way it looked mounted up. Thanks though.
then why need "springer specific" risers?
regular 1 inch risers should work, correct?
TJ doesnt make 1" diameter risers as far as i know, he makes 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 inch diameter risers only.
I was under the impression that the risers for a springer were different. I would have no issue keeping stock risers, but as Drew pointed out, the Carlini's have the set screw.

the "new" springer bars on Carlini's website reduce to 1 inch and knurled where the risers go. Carlini doesnt make 1" risers.
I dont know for sure since i dont own a springer but the only difference i thought was the width of the risers- 3 1/2 inch standard versus 4 1/2 inch springer- Thus why Carlini makes those upper triple adapters...
So maybe Im confused what bars you are looking at for your springer....
