Default Hello

Hello everyone. New on this site. Just ordered my 2011 fatboy lo. I am in the middle east right now and was trying to get the 2010's but i missed the allocation by a month and have had to wait till now. I cant get it delivered till the 1st of Nov so i guess I will have time to think what I want to do to it. Anyways just want to say hello.

Welcome to the forum shadechaser...nice choice in scoots and you can probably start a good savings plan between now & Nov b/c the mods will begin as soon as you turn the key...;-)

If you're in the military - I'm guessing you took advantage of the AAFES vehicle program.

Welcome to our little family here. nice bike you ordered. Stay away from all the catalog of parts you could order. Otherwise you will come home broke:P

I recommend you stop looking at anything chrome and go all Black. It's not easy to find all the parts in black yet, but you've got time.

Also...since you ordered a 2011 bike...did you find out if there's any differences in that model vs. the 2010? They offer the 103 engine or anything at all different?

And congrats! You're going to love the bike. I gave my Deluxe to the wife and haven't looked back once.

Thanks guy's for thw welcome. I did go thru the AAFES program and got a decent deal compared to what I was checking in the state's. The paper I got did say it had the 96 but would be nice if they are trying to cover up coming out with the 103". I guess I'll be happy either way. I have so much time before i pick it up and it will be pretty crappy in the Pacific Northwest by then so i imagine i will have alot of time till i get some decent riding. Looking forward to the site

Welcome! Lots of military on here, me included. I'm sure you'll love your bike and the waiting will give you something to look forward to.

Come home safe and enjoy it!
