Sounds like we're on the same plan: I'll be getting my heads done this winter as well.

If so does anyone have the part number? Or, what is the best way to perform a Stage 1 mod on my bike.
What the hell is a Stage 1? Seems my local Harley Service manager is a bit of a *** when it comes to newb asking questions!

Sorry to sound new and probably redundant!

K&N has a few options, we do not call out kits stage 1, 2... but we do have kits that are like what Harley offers.

For 2008+ Touring models you can go with the stock air filter (reusing your stock backing plate and cover): HD-1508

-----------------------------------------------------------

If you are looking for something like Harley's stage 1 SE, where you keep the football cover, we have the: RK-3930

-----------------------------------------------------------

If you want an open element with a chrome cover, we also offer the RK-3939, the RK-3937 and the RK-3938

-----------------------------------------------------------

And if you are looking for an intake kit with a setup like harley's Heavy Breather (AND YOU DON'T HAVE LOWERS!!), we offer the 63-1122P (chrome) and 63-1122 (black)
