Default RE: Springer Owners Are Lazy!

Well...since I had to go out and push my Springer into the garage for the night I took some measurements. Was too "lazy" to get my ruler out of the drawer so measured with my fingers......yep...took five fingers and one thumb from top to bottom...
Since my Springer is a standard softail with no modifications other than the frontend, I came to the conclusion...after 4 beers and a bag of stale pretzels (from last weeks bike washing) that the bearings are also standard...for whatever that means. Too "lazy" to reach up for my bike manual, was going to call the shop but they closed 2 hours ago...

They make a Special "Springer Tape measure" That would have to be used anyway. It comes with the stock HD Springer Tool kit.

Hey Vrock, you're way outta line here....these folks on this forum are here to help you no matter what the question (believe me,as a novice I have asked some pretty stupid ones)....I believe an apology is in order, rather than some lame post pretending you were making some sort of joke....if you cant do that then dont come back and leave this forum to those of us who love ALL bikes and are willing to lend a helping hand or advice to those who are appreciative.....peace

Default Apology to The springer Crowd

You are absolutly correct! I was out of line. I made a post that was directed at people that I dont even Know. And I have really regretted it!!! I was asking the question Because I admire the Springer soo Much! I made the Lame post to try and lighten things up. That was wrong, And I am Man enough to admit that I was wrong.
I apoligize to all the Springer owners that I may have offended with my stupid post. I too believe in helping out a Brother or Sister rider. No matter what they ride. HD, Honda, BMW,Kawakakii, Porsche Whatever does not matter to me. I wave @ every Bike I meet! And would stop and help any of them in a minute.
Ride safe and watch the cages
