Default Exhaust question

Hello. I'm new to this tread for Softails due to the recent purchase of a 06 heritage Softail. my question is that my brother-in-law has a 05 springer Softail and had put some Vance and Hines dual crossovers. he replaced them with different ones and i was curious, will the ones he took off fit on my bike without having to do any mods. If any one has pics of them it would be appreciated.

Thanks Memo

Are they both fuel injection. Is yours stock or do you have a set of pipes and an air cleaner and a tuner. Do you have o2 sensors. Does he. Have you checked the web site for fitment?

anything before 07 will bolt right on. after that, you'd just have to get o2 plugs. V&H site will tell you for sure, but I'm sure they'd bolt right on like DR. said. you'll need to get your carb jetted though if it's not already.
