Default Front end wobble.....?

Got a question for you FXSTC guys....

I've got a 07 and cranked her up to about 100 one day on

the interstate and noticed some wobble in my front end ?

I do have 14 apes on it but it seems just the slightest side

to side movement makes it unstable even at 80? I've had other

metric bikes but don't remember this kind of thing. I've lowered

the rear also....is this normal...?? It just seems harder to control ?

Check your tire pressures, 32 front, 36+ rear. Is your handle bar bushings tight? I like the poly-urethane ones best. Also, if your front tire is getting worn down, that will create some wobble issues. Ride safe. TJ

it could be as simple as the added air resistance. on one bike I had somewhere around 15 lbs in one bag and nothing in the other when I hit 120 after hitting a small groove in the road I about went for a flight thought it could be a balance issue turns out it was the air. the shop said slow your *** down all because it can go that fast dont mean it will do it worth a damn. short and simple if I took everything off my tourer then it would not have been an issue

I would guess high speed front end wobble. At higher speeds you would get tank slap an might wreck. Its somewhat normal for all bikes at high speeds IMHO.

My metric bike would have front end wobble anywhere from 80-100. It seemed to do it randomly and wouldnt do it through a turn. Scared the **** out of me since it was the 2nd day I was riding her and I thought I was eating asphalt at 80mph from a tank slapper. I think I adjusted the front and rear air pressure and got them dead on and she never really had a problem after that.

your knees should be against the tank at that speed because the air hitting each could cause a little wobble depending on the road and the wind. I also get less wind with the windshield off. I am thinking of cutting down 33% of it. Again check the steering head bearings.
