I do have to stop, however. The reality is that I teach junior high school. The last thing I want to do is answer, "What kind of bike do you have?" from a student and accidentally respond, "I've got a boner." out of habit as a 7th grade girl walks in the room.
The lawsuit would just be too damned much energy.
That's the real problem with calling it a boner. Get into that habit and eventually it's going to come out wrong (the word, not a boner).

We're all immature. There's a reason we don't drive a Ford Escort. A motorcycle is not a "practical" vehicle. We're not doing this based on logic.
We all behave like children.
I somehow doubt many of us have friends that don't make jokes like that anyway.
At least... We think they're joking.

Out of morbid curiosity, I wanted to see if people actually called these bikes boners.
I did a web search.
Right now if you google Harley Davidson Boner the top (and apparently only) reference of this type google knows about is this thread.
I'm either a complete nerd or a trend setter.
