so with your set up you can hit the rear pedal and take your foot off the pedal and the clutch is dis-engaged?
or should I just have another drink and forget about it ?
Nope, no drink.. Your exactly correct.. It's toe to go... Pull up to a light push the heel down and your good.. No need to find neutral every time you stop.
have a complete set up for your bike. I was going to put in on my 05 classic springer. It's a heel toe clutch set up. I have the frame adapter and best thing is the tank shifter. I'll post pics tomorrow. It's a one off hand made to mimic the real 1940's shifter. Had the machinest use a knuck shifter as a guide. Has all mounting hardware. And like I said. It's one off. You'd be the only one with it. And it's for sale.
I sold the springer when I got my SG. Only reason it's not on.
If your rocker clutch pedal and adapter are from V-Twin, aka Taiwan Tedd, be very careful. I had one several years ago. I had problems with it eating the clutch cable because of the angle it traveled through, and welds breaking. It tried to strand me about 40 miles from the hacienda one dark & stormy night. A weld broke, the pedal fell off, and I caught it with my foot. Had to ride clutchless to get home - interesting, but not exactly fun. When I got home and checked everything out a poor weld was the culprit. Stripping it down to repair it found several welds that had started to crack. V-Twin would not stand behind the product. Then I found out from some other guys I do business with that V-twin regularly rips off designs, has them made overseas, and undercuts the original designer's price. Won't do business with them.
