I'm a patient guy, but sheesh. I ordered through Dr. V Twin and have been in touch with both Drew and Shawn, who tell me that Heartland is waiting for production to be completed.
Question: if Heartland knows these kits are so popular, wouldn't it make sense to have them, you know... in stock? If I get sent a Deuce or rocker kit or chrome struts, I'm gonna snap.
This is how it is with Heartland. It would make sense to keep everything in stock but in today's economy a lot of companies don't. Just look at it this way, when it gets there you will be ready for it. I apologize for the wait but as I am sure you are aware, there is nothing we can do. The funny thing is they are about 30 minutes from our shop but almost never have what we need in stock.
well, vendors do watch this forum...via.. progressive , shotgun shock, and many more...maybe they seen your post on how you said there stuff was to expensive and you would never buy it, and just make your own (how did that go?) they are just getting back at you making you wait.....lol.....i got mine in 4 days after order...
look at the bright side you've been wanting for this for a year or two now, you got it....the worst part is waiting for the paint to be done....but it will be the best money you spent on your ride, that's if you like people to walk up and ask ?s about it...so the wait is worth it......
That's the way it is with a lot of companies right now. I just waited 5 months on a set of Vance & Hines mufflers through H-D Pipes and 3 months on a set of SE mufflers through Zannotti Motors. Not for myself. I'm not that fickle. I imported them for other people.
Ha! No shot Mike! My local wrench is ready to go, so it's just a matter of time. Hopefully, the actual install won't take very long. I also have to get the Kuryakyn mini bulletS installed front and rear... As well a side-mount plate which ia yet to be purchased. Still deciding on how to go with that...
