I should clarify that I am heading towards the mountains. I may not make it to them. I am going to head north on GA 400 towards Dahlonega, GA. I will have to turn around at some point so that I can make it home before rush hour traffic starts to get thick. This will be my first ride of any real length in about 12 years. It will be interesting. I'll let you all know how it goes.
Thanks for the pic of your bike, I can see why you can't wait to get riding, I would be too. Great lookin bike. Enjoy your trip this weekend and may Mother Nature be kind to you.
Man that's a awesome looking ride, love the pipe's, got some that look about the same but as usual can't post a picture. ActuallyI don't think I have one of my new pipe's.
The ride was fantastic. I am not a writer so I really can't explain much unless it has to do with numbers. If you ever have a chance to ride Hwy 60 through N. GA, it is a must. Beautiful roads and bike friendly establishments. One place is called T.W.O. resort (Two Wheels Only). They have camping areas, a resturant, and guided rides. They welcome all bikes (no 1%ers). Really nice people. That is where I truned around. It is Suches, GA. I got pretty sunburned, but it sure was fun. All told I guess I rode about 150 miles. Have a great weekend.
