Default Flstc dash trim

Love the new FLSTC but really dislike the yuck brown leather on the dash cover and sissy bar. All the old mods, leather or metal wont fit due to new shape of speedo trim. Any suggestions? Thanks

Thumbs up

I replaced my tank trim with a modified mustang panel as there werent many options out there but I have been stuck with the sissy bar trim, However it looks like on the 2011 models the trims are now all black, my dealer says I can order them from September but you may be able to get them earlier in the states..........No more brown on my bike....thank god!!

Get the Harley Lo Profile extended dash. Then you won't need a tank panel.

Going to have to agree with Dr Vtwin on this one...I have done a ton of research on tank panels and doing a one piece in chrome or powder coated is the only way to go...In my opinion its the best finish piece for the tank

I like the lo profile dash but want to keep the ole skool look. I hope an aftermarket company comes out with suitable console trim....

I am thinkng about taking the black and brown one off and having a leather guy make one using it as a template or modify the stock one.

Thats my suggestion....
If you don't know anyone...see if there is a "Tandy Leather Factory" around...
Usually they'll know of indys that will do small jobs at reasonable prices...
