Carburetor question??
I've decided I don't like my S&S Super E carb 
, and have decided to replace it. (S&S.....spit & sputter). which it does TOO much of.
What is best replacement, and what should I expect to spend?
All help appreciated.

S&S the best...? preference maybe. Mikuni 42 all the way! Easy to tune great throttle response. Hell pick up a stock cv40 throw a thunderslide in it and away you go. I dont think the carb is your prob, look for leaks, carbon build up, float level, screen, pipe and ac selection.... whats your current setup?

IMO simple to tune...
Has it been running bad since you bought it? (recently correct?)
Had it been sitting?
How many miles on it?
Did you swap your pipes?
Have you checked your intake manifold for leaks / cracks?
