Default Seat question

I have a 2004 FXSTSI and a guy with a '99 FXSTB Night Train wants to know if my badlander seat I'm selling will fit....anyone know that answer?

I know the answer... and its no... In 2000, Harley went to the twin cam 88 counterbalenced motor in the softail line, and used a newly designed transmission.
The frame has subtle changes to allow for all this, and a seat from a 1999 will not fit a 2000 and up softail. I know...I tried. with that being said, I'm positive that it wont work the other way around either. Not to say you couldnt modify the seat to fit the bike, but I would think that it would be easier to just buy the correct seat in the first place. Hope this helped
