Default Back from Long trip.

Just got back from a long trip and noticed the weights were gone off the back wheel on my 2008 Fxstc, did not notice any difference riding, should it take it to a Dealer to be reblanced?

I went to the dealer last week for the same thing. Actually, I have the identical bike. haha
Anyways, they just gave me a new weight and sent me on my way. Nothing was mentioned about bringing it in and having it rebalanced.
They said to make sure and used either brake cleaner or alcohol to really clean the surface before putting a new on back on.

I usually throw mine off within the first week after getting a new rear tire.
Never once had it re-balanced and never really noticed a change.

If you're worried about it get some dynabeads and put them in. Can't see how the dealer would balance the wheel w/o taking it off and that would cost alot more than the dynabeads. I have them in my front wheel.

I wouldn't bother with it if I didn't notice it when riding.

Went to the Dealer today and they just gave me more, so now I'am wondering if I should even reinstall them?
