went for a ride last friday down here in socal, wile exiting the freeway on to a side road something hit me between the eyes and left a stinger.
I ride with an open face helmet & goggles no windshield I guess Im a bug glutton.how many of you ride with a full face helmet? I know there are other ways around this problem, but for now the full face helmet
is what Im looking at. Ive been stung to many times this year no fun.
I could never get used to riding with a full face on my XB...maybe it's a mental thing...
My favorite helmet for the moment is the Fulmer 655...
It's a 3/4 with a flip down shield...

No full face helmet here, unless it's cold, then maybe. I got stung a few years back. A bee got stuck between my face and my helmet strap right in front of my ear. My buddy pulled the stinger out. No worries, comes with the territory. Unless your alergic I guess, but I'm not.
i ride with a full face. was riding with a half for a while but a while back a piece of sand or something flew in my eye behind glasses and scratched cornea. bad luck i guess. so since then ive been wearing a shoei. its very comfortable and its got lots of air vents so its not too hot, and probably safer. personally, i dont really care how it looks.
