? on Replacing Windshield
I have a Nostalgia standard height windshield. I wasn't too happy with the height so I bought a shorter replacement shield to try out on the original hardware. I am trying to get the hardware off the shield but it is double sided taped to it. Any tips on cleanly removing the hardware from the shield without scratching it? I'd like to be able to switch back if possible!

I wanted to be able to try a different height and not be stuck with it if the wife didn't like it shorter. I prefer to ride without a shield but when I ride 2-up the shield gets put on. I did eventually get the hardware to pop off cleanly after soaking it with some Meguiar's 18 Clear Plastic Detailer.

Haven't been in that situation,,, but hair dryer worked on reflectors.. think it'd work on DS tape....just go slow....
I also cut my Heritage WS down 4in's thought it'd help with buffeing..... wrong....but not displeased with results....
