Default seat question

07 FXST, i'm trying to figure out who makes the lowest possible seat. i'd prefer it not to be a solo.

Try out the Lepera Bare-Bones. It is a solo seat, but you can get a passenger pillion to go with it.

Ya. I'm pretty sure LePera makes the claim that the Bare Bones is the lowest profile seat available. And like he just said, they make a passenger pillion attachment for it.

I just picked up a Bare Bones for my FXSTB.

My C&C seat was noticeably lower than the stock seat. I think it puts you down another 1.25" or so.

Just keep in mind....There are low because there isn't much to them besides a seat pan and vinyl..... The Bare Bones has an amazing "cool" factor.....But it's the most uncomfortable seat out there....

I think it is the Bare Bones as well. They say it takes a bit to break one in, or in other words it is not very comfortable, but to each their own.

have you considered letting a shop (like MCC) rework your seat into what you want? they did a great job on a FXST seat for me that I put on my Fatboy. I had them narrow the neck, take enough foam out of the seat (and replace with memory foam) to lower me about 2 inches. I also had about 2 inches taken out of the back to move me back.

sorry about the size of the photo - I'm just not smart enough to be able to enlarge it.
