Sound normal. My 2005 Deluxe will hit 230-240 on scorching hot days.

My 2010 heritage runs around 225 at 95 to 100 degree days and if I let it idle while I open the doors to the shed it can get close to 300

Sounds normal/good to me. I have a 96" with a MoCo Oil Cooler and see up to 230 on a hot day in traffic.

Its about normal for a stock bike. Put a stage 1 setup and oil cooler on mine and it went down to 200 or less most of the time.
Really hot (90+) days it still climbs up to 210 or maybe 220, but that's about as hot as it gets.
Even in traffic it still stays under 230/235.

Hot days, 90+ in stop and go traffic with an H-D oil cooler I see 230+ a little. In little or no traffic cruising, 45 -60 mph I see about 200.

last year @ Sturgis on a 100 deg. day from one end of main to the other in a parade walking speed, get this 275deg on the oil tank dip stick ga. burnt the hell out of my right inner leg on the head. 1 mile out of town the temp back below 200. oil coolers dont work standing still!
