I am off to pick up my blue tooth a fellow member has made for me for my iphone and J&M speakers today. Once my bike is ready, I'll let you know how it works. This way I can eliminate the 3.5mm jack from my setup.

I can't wait to see your setup Mimo.

Update... Baby steps...

I'm playing with the orientation of the speaker's housing, downwards ("concealed") or upwards (better sound image), a couple of pics front and rear views...

Thoughts, ideas???

Mimo.

I like them inside the crash bars or lower better for looks. I don't know how that will impact sound.

...Confused... I spent a good hour talking to my dealership's owner... He warned me that the a car amplifier will drain my battery pretty quick and that even worse, he said that the generator can suffer severe damage in time because of the extra effort to maintain charge.... I'm not sure 'bout this... He also said that touring bikes do have a bigger batt and a bigger generator, that is why police editions can put up with all that extra equipment (sirens, strobes, loud speaker, etc.)

Any thoughts on this guys?

He rsuggested this (which I have not seen before):

http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US

Or this:

http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US

Which are pretty much the same tiny speakers and micro amp that many after market brands threw around.... I wonder how the HD ones sound (or don't sound at highway speeds with the thunder-header singing)...

Mimo.
