Ive just noticed some people on the forum say to get a true 180 you have to go to a 5.5 in wheel. So if you can put a SE 180 on 4.5 on only that tire is it a true 180? If not how much wider?

Well....the difference is about 3/4".......
160mm= 6-5/16"
180mm= 7-1/16"
Mine came with the SE180/wide tire kit from the MoCo.....the rim width is 5".....I could prolly squeeze a 200mm on there, but would have to change the belt/pulley width I think.....the difference(180-200 or 160-180) amounts to 3/8" on each side of the rim,and I'm about an 1/8" away from it now(belt)......so if yer rim is 4-1/2" I'd say the 180 will prolly work,but you'll have to watch the belt clearance........
