Default Wheel and Rim sizes

I have a 2008 Softail Custom and am considering purchasing some rims from Roland Sands but am having problems understanding what the right size rim is in their catalogue (have emailed RS to find out but they don't respond).

The back tyre is a Dunlop 200/55R17 78V and in the RS catalogue they have either a 17" x 6" or a 18" x 5.5"

The front is a Dunlop MH90-21 54H and in the RS catalogue they have either 21" x 2.15" or a 21" x 3.5"

Grateful if someone out there could make sense of those specs and advise me which size RS rims I need for those tyres...???

Many thanks

all the sizes u mentioned would fit ur bike. However the majority will go for 3.5 front and 5.5 rear.

If you want to reuse your stock dunlop rubber then you would want the 21 x 2.15" and the 17 x 6.0". You can go to a 18 x 5.5" with a new tire. The 21 x 3.5" front wheel/tire would require a different front fender. If you need anymore information or prices (we sell rsd wheels) just let me know.

You can fit all those sizes, but you need to decide if you want a wider than stock front wheel. If so get the 3.5" wide. For the rear I like the 18x5.5 as you can still run a 200mm but you also get a bigger diameter wheel. Let me know and I can get you a nice discount on the wheels too.
