Default Would You?

I'm a touring rider (10 UC). Grew up on shovel heads and flat heads. I am actively looking for a bike for my wife. Thought we found a deal on a Sporty that seems to have fallen through. Discovered yesterday - 2006 FXST, V&H pipes, and lowered an inch. Less than 200 original miles! I can walk with it for a very good price, that I can afford. Would you?

Absolutely. Can't go wrong with the tried and true softail with a 5 speed and 88" motor.

Go for it. Plus you will have another bike to tinker with...

Bought my bike used a couple years ago. Only a 1000 miles, lots of goodies and a great price. If I were looking today I'd pass on my 06 and get an 07 or newer. No more spring tensioners, you get a 6 speed and the 96" cammed will do more than an 88" cammed. An 06 Dyna will get you all those but the 96". That being said, if she does not ride much then those upgrades matter less.
