Default Wanna say THANKS and some advice

Advice section: I rode my Train in a parade this weekend - DON'T DO IT!
Gets hot, REAL hot, to the point where I received minor 2nd deg burns to my upper inner thighs. Thank you, aloe plant and an amused wife...

The bike survived, but on the way in to work the next day I got the "check engine" light. Thanks to the poster whom I can't remember, I checked the codes (P0131 & P0151) and they are the cylinder-running-lean codes (same one's I got after installing Xied's). Guess crawling at idle in 1st gear will do that. Cleared them, no further problems.

Will change fluids this weekend, and give her a good going over.

NO PARADES! (How do the Shriners do it ???)

Touring bikes actually have a cylinder shut off mode from what I understand.

I picked up a set of the kuryakyn leg shields, they really help with parades and funeral escorts.

I saw you in the parade. Nice Train! Good group of girls and guys too.

Can you imagine riding in the St. Patrick's Day parade?

If you have a PC III you can use the external buttons to set the mixture to rich for such occasions. Your mileage will stink but the engine will run cooler.
