I went with the lightly smoked 18" Harley replacement ws and just ordered the gloss black hardware.

How does the 18" w/s do. Are your eyes above the top?. Does it effect the steering. I am newbie and think I might get one for extended trips.

Good to have a direction so you don't clutter it up with crap. Look around and pick out what you like and avoid what you don't like.

Not a Lo but same idea. The little bag is nice to have it's from Garageleathers.com. Simple pipes and air cover. I think the Lo looks tuff lowered - "It's a shame if you aint layin frame".

I agreed with the comment that the windshield will negate the "cool factor".. but I just put one on also..

I did the HD 21" gloss black one, tired of going on longish trips and feeling like I fought my way there..... it actually looks pretty good... I like it.. Looks like a flat-black badass RoadKing.

I take the sissy bar off, if the OL isn't with me.. but the windshield stays on, except for bar runs on the weekends when I am trying to impress the local MCers (just kidding ).

I have chrome V&H 2-2 pipes (dealer installed stage 1 when I bought it).. sounds great...

+1 on the bar replacement.. I haven't swapped mine yet, but will once the first snow falls.

Congrats on the bike!!!

as for the fighter look.. if you figure out how to put a 20mm on it.. lemme know!

I'm 5'10" and I look just over it. I really have not noticed any difference in the steering, but I have not been in any heavy winds with it installed.

Even though you are looking over the top, does the wind go over your head?

First of all, get rid of the reflectors. That will cost ya nothing.

Secondly, finish what Harley Davidson started. Black the damn thing out. That mix of satin, gloss and chrome is fu&*ed up IMHO. Do it right.

Thirdly, enjoy the bike!
