Default Cross Bones cross over question?

Me and the wife are out riding today and we met a couple on a pretty new Cross Bones Softail. In passing I mentioned I was working on a cross over set of duals for my Dyna, and he mentioned he really wished his bike came with the left side / right side cross over exhaust system like the baggers and Heritage's have. I said I thought that if the system fits on a Heritage it should be a direct bolt on to a Cross Bones. Am I correct? Has any one put a left side / right side set of mufflers on a Cross Bones? Just kind of wondering I guess. The idea sounds cool enough.

Can't think of any reason a Heritage Springer exhaust wouldn't work, or couldn't easily be made to work on a Crossbones.

Yes, of course. I knew I wasn't nuts here. I'll never see this guy again, but now I have good "cocktail party" info in case I do. Thanks.

It might work, but the rear tire is wider than the Heritage, so the crossover pipe might need to be extended in the area it crosses over under the bike.
