Default SaddleBag Question.....

Well, got a question, wanting to change out my saddlebags on my heritage. I don't really care for the brackets that are needed to hold them in place. Can anyone give me some suggestions or even some pics of different type of bags they have put on there vicla. Thanks Memo

there are a few options you could go with some different Harley bags or you could go with some different brackets. There are a few different companies out there that offer quick detach brackets for softails. One that I have used in the past is Easy Brackets I think.

Hey - I've also got an '06 FLST. I just put on a set of Auburn Leather "Ultimate Legend" bags from Fox Creek http://www.foxcreekleather.com/263-a...n-bolt-on-bags. They're plenty big and the smooth leather on the bags matches the smooth leather of the FLST stock saddle. They're also made in USA (in KY). The bike side of the bag is rigid for mounting. I used an aftermarket support bracket and some spacers to mount them but I may end up going with a detachable bracket in the future.

I'll have to take a pic and post it for you.

Check out the Hog Deluxe bags. They sit really close to the fender unlike the other setups that leave your bags hanging in the breeze. He is also a site sponsor and a super cool dude. I am yet to figure out what to do for the bags, but one day I'll something.
