Ok so seeing all these lowering threads makes me want to lower my X-bones but after looking around I really dont want to just lower the rear and make it feel unstable.
That being said is there a way to lower the front end or a way to safely lower the rear. I was looking into the cheap lowering bolts but thinking about the front end it sounds expensive if at all possible. Either new sprinegs (which there's a lot in the bones front end) or somehow compress them which doesnt sound good.
Anyways if anyone knows anything or if this is going to be a trial and error kind of deal let me know. I need something to do this winter
I might order me some of those bolts to lower the rear with. But then again I hear you need a hydraulic press to get it to work. Anyone have experience with them and how well they work?
Think I found my next mod. Im glad we ended up getting a motorcycle jack thats for sure. Hopefully it doesnt change the feel of the bike too much... I think with my new rear fender it will look pretty good slammed nice and low. I just gotta wait till X-mas to buy them
