I have a 2008 Electra Glide and wife have a 2010 Lo ,this summer we ride 30,000km together, i take the Lo sometime and really appreciate how it ride, at first we bought the Electra Glide because we ride 2 up, but since she ride her own bike , i can see me on a Lo and be happy with it...fun bike..and with detachable windshield and bags we can make long distance ride easily...
The Lo is my first bike/Harley ever....ridden/borrowed others at times...it was a toss up between the Lo and the Street Glide. I did test ride the Fat Boy (standard) and I am glad I went with the Lo!!!
When a changed to Apes, it made a world of difference in controlling the beast. Of course I have a bias..., but seriously, the added pullback and width gave me more leverage.
Hey MBLOLYFE, what didn't you like about the FLSTF? Is there much of a difference to the Lo?
The Lo just fits better, didn't seem so jacked up in the air. Also I think the bars had something to do with it. The seat on the regular Fat Boy is W I D E, so unless you got long legs, it feels unnatural with your feet on the pavement.
I too am selling my Street Glide and considering a Fat Boy Low. My question is about the different engine. I am curious how the Counter balanced engine compares with the unbalanced motor in my SG? What differences will I feel? Is there any engine vibration on the Fat Boy? I am going to take one for a ride but haven't had a chance yet.

Thanks and Happy Holidays!
Compared to the old chassis? if so it's like day and night. When I fire up my ultra you can watch the horn vibrate vigorisly and when I fire up my lo it dosent move. (I like both styles though)
