Just wanted to introduce myself around here, purchased a 2010 Fatboy LO (vivid Black) Nov 23rd , in part influenced by you guys and your sleds and also the bank account. Alot of cool sleds on this site and I have already learned alot trolling this forum!! Thx!! By my name I do live in Myrtle Beach/Surfside Beach area of SC. Here is my first question, where can I find a helmet that is DOT legal but is low profile like a beanie cap. Thanks in advance!
Welcome to the softail section. Well, that is a touch question to answer. It used to be that a certain brand made "DOT legal" helmets, but they are no longer dot legal. This si what I wear, but it is no longer DOT legal. Mine has a DOT label and sticker on it as I bought it a long time ago. http://www.headtriphelmets.com/pricing.php
Welcome....never buy a used helmet ! I got mine at Helmet City. I found the one I wanted that fit me at a local Kawi dealership then ordered it at helmet city for 1/2 the price.
