I found this windshield on ebay which looks good.. has anyone tried it on here?? The standard one from the dealer is good but i have to wear a full face helmet because i find that it directs wind smack into my forehead lol
Hi...just wanted to respond to this thread as we recently completed our design for the rocker windshield. Our design provides superior protection and our prices range from $119 to $125 w/an additional $28 for light grey tint.
I've attached a picture and I'd love to chat further - feel free to call or email me anytime.
we also just provide the screen - ready to mount to the OEM hardware...
that ebay listing is just reseller I would personally not go for it clearview has plenty of good mentions I know from my deluxe HD shield I got its not the thickest in the world an upgrade may be in order soon
I think im about ready to order the 25" smoke windshield for the long trips. the HD one is 20 inches and is good but i think the extra height and width would make longer trips more comfortable..
Yes, that E-Bay one is spendy and doesn't include the hardware to mount it. Did you check out Memphis Shades? Sometimes it's not so much the size of the windshield but how many different ways you can adjust the height and angle. After all, you can get a huge picture window that works but looks like hell, or a smaller shield placed just right that works but doesn't make the bike all about the windshield. To get it right you have to think like an air molecule! And the Memphis Shades hardware has a gazillion adjustment points! (Well, not a gazillion, LOL!)
If I was going to add a windshield to mine, I'd go with a clear WindVest.
I'd have to make up a mounting braket to fit it though.
Which ever you chose, make sure you're looking over it, not through it.
Motorcycle shields are not optical clear and aren't meant to be constantly looking through like a car windshield.
