There weren't on my '06 Fatboy or my buddies '06 Dyna. I replaced mine with V&H, we beat a hole through the baffles in his.....pleased him for the time being, I can actually hear him now when he's getting on it.

My buddy cut his out with a torch. There are 3 spot welds on them. Sound alot better than I expected. Just holding him over until his lsr 2:1 comes in.

Piece of cake, yes there are removable baffles, my friend took his out in less than 20 minutes.

Don't even need a torch, you just crack those welding points using a flat screwdriver and a hammer. Then pull out the baffle. Be careful, lots of fiberglass is going to be packed in those baffles and you don't want the itch nor inhaling that thing, very dangerous.

You'll like the sound.

Best regards.

Yeah, be interesting if you can safely knock out the baffles on the 07s.

So, how do you do it? I was looking at the exhaust and I can see where the muffler is soldered to the header - is this where you have to take them apart? Or, can I get to the baffles from the end of the pipes?

Sorry for all the questions!

Can be done from the back of the pipes, with them on the bike.
