Default softail frame trim problem???

Help with this problem, the softail frame trim set that I bought stayed on for a couple of months. Today while washing my bike I noticed that the big pice on the left side of the bike was just hanging on. My question is what can I use to put it back on so that it will stay on this time? The other pices are just fine and seem to be holding good. Any suggestions? Thanks

Be sure to clean the area first. Windex may do the trick, but maybe some brake cleaner sprayed on a rag would be better. The brake cleaner will remove the road grime (oil mostly) that would keep the glue from sticking.

Just a quick note, The RTV sealent worked great. Went on a 1000 mile ride last weekend and it held up great. I am glad that we have this forum to ask questions and get advise. Thanks again

A friend of mine had all his fly off must have been bad adhesive the double stick was still on the bike so the dealer could not blame him for not properly cleaning the surface. Most Harley davidson acc are guaranteed for 90 day this does not include bad chrome. they gave him a new set
