Do Fobs need reprogramed?

Do Fobs need reprogramed?
Had my battery out of my 05 Heritage Softail for a couple weeks doing some mods. When I put it back in do I need to reprogram the fobs or do they remember everything?

just replace the battery and you'll be good to go. i was concerned with the same issue, and was told that if i replace the battery in the fob, it would all work as it should. they told me right.
