Default Rear Strut Question (Fatboy)

Does anyon know where I can get a set of rear struts without the holes for the turn signals for a 2010 fatboy? What years can be used?

Thanks

I have not seen struts without the turn signal holes alone. There are struts that are completely smooth. Can you use those or do you have a need for the external hardware (backrest, bags, etc...)? I would believe the smooth struts could be drilled for normal hardware and then exclude the turn signal hole.

HD has chrome plugs that fit them. They use them on the Deluxe. Parts guy should be able to look it up for you if you wanted to go that way. I did it on my FB and it looks pretty clean.

As Daddy-O says....all of the Heritages and Deluxes have these.

As for the smoothies.....they have bolts welded to them from the inside....would be almost impossible to drill holes in them for back rest.

If you need them, the part numbers for the plugs are:

Item, Name, Quantity, Price, Total
53830-00, HOLE PLUG, CHROME, 2, $1.49, $2.98
68446-00, BUTTON PLUG, 2, $.99, $1.98

Might want to double check those p/n's just to be safe.

Who says everything from HD costs a hundred dollars?
