Default Swingarm cover Help

I have the chrome swingarm covers that you have to bolt in and I need help installing the right side cover. You have to remove the adjuster bolt but in order to do that I have to move the brake arm or take it out I think! Anyone have any easy way of removing the adjuster bolt without taking everything apart?

Nope, sorry. When I installed mine I had to remove the whole brake caliper. No biggy. Take your time.

Regards.

The lift and manual would pay for itself in no time. Just getting new tires and brake pads installed will pay for it in some cases.

u guys must have a different brand or something-------------I bought mine from HD and didn't have to remove anything. It was a little tough---well; very tough without a lift---but I removed nothing

Yes, you have a different model (P/N), some like ours needs more labor, hehe... I didn't even needed a lift for that. I broke my back doing mine . I'm getting a lift soon, it is a must...

Yes a lift pays for itself when saving all those bucks instead of giving 'em away to the stealer.

Best regards.

Mimo.

Do any of you guys use saddle bags with your covers I would love to have the swing arm axle covers on so when I take bags off I'll have the chrome rear end but parts book says they dont work with saddlebags

No, in most of the aplications (H-D) is either axle covers or saddlebags. If you can see in my pics. I have the saddlebags support bracket but since I put the cover on, no more saddlebags, needless to say that my bike is lowered 2" in the rear end, so... less chances. One thing you can try is what I have in mind which is open (pry) the support brackets in order to make room between the axle cover and the saddlebags bottom... bummer.

Regards.
