Default Tire question:

I have an '05 Fatboy. I am going to replace the tires on it very soon. So I have 2 questions that I am needing input on...

1. I have the 150/80-16 rear tire. I plan to lower the bike and want to have clearance. Is there a lower profile tire than an 80?

2. Is the 150 as wide as I can go, or can I get a 160?

Keep in mind that a 160 is not a true 160; every manufacturer is different. For example, metzlers run a bit smaller (a 250 is 248) and avon a bit bigger (a 250 is a 252mm). Best bet is to go to a shop and measure these so you get the right width.
