Did I do good?
Hello guys, I recently won an 06 Fatboy on Ebay. The bike is listed with 1,500 miles and I paid $9,995.00 I will have to pay for shipping from southern California to the southern Oregon coast. Don't know how much this is going to be exactly, but I'm thinking @ $700.00
Well, I have owned a Dyna Low Rider in the past, liked it, but just thought it was a bit small. I am 5'10 250 lbs. I have never rode a Fatboy, but always thought they looked awesome (think Terminator.)
I hope the bike isn't too big, or too heavy. I will mostly be using it for around town and 25-50 commutes to work. Someone please tell me I did good! Thanks for any replies or thoughts on the matter.

Well, sounds like you did good but...

It would really help to see/know more about the specifics. Given that it supposedly has only 1500 miles, and is 5 years old, that is an extremely unusual amount of mileage. I'd be concerned about how long it has sat without running, but for the price it doesn't sound like you went wrong.
If I was you and it was in running condition, I'd think about local pickup and ride that bad boy home! It's only a day ride, or two if you want to take your time, and it would be a great opportunity to get to know your new ride.
Of course, we have another storm system coming in next week, so that would throw some rain on the parade, but you have a couple of day window with some clear weather in between!
Congrats on the purchase - hope it works out well for you!

Thanks for the replies so far guys. Well, the guy tells me it's in mint condition. What got my attention was the low miles and color (gray) Due to family/work schedules, I really can't go down there to pick it up (although I have though hard about doing so.)
I will try to attach the Ebay photos when I learn how to do it
And yes, If it is as stated, in "Mint" condition, I really do think I done good! Just wanted to get some feedback, as I have never rode or owned a Fatboy.
