On a set of hard bags today. They are going to have to be painted and I am going to have to get some Cycle Sounds lids for them so I can put my speakers in them as well. I figure in about 6 months I should have this project completed and on my ride. I asked the wife what i should do. She told me to buy her a Tron t short and I could do whatever i want. $16.95 and I was home free. LOL.
I decided against extended bags as I don't want to deal with the possible scraping issues knowing teh type of riding I do most of the time.
I will also be selling my RKC bags with the Cycle Sounds speakers bezels in them once this whole project is completed. Once again, I have to change something else. I just can't be happy with what I already have. too funny. Here are the bag lids I need to get. http://www.cyclesounds.com//index.ph...roducts_id=213
There are a few other options for saddlebag lids that I will look into as well, but I plan on sticking with Cycle Sounds as their stuff is top notch. Also knowing that this is what Paul Yaffe uses on his rides certainly helps.
Drew! I feel like you _just_ finished the bags... Oh man, well, can't wait to see the hard bags on that beast
Yeah, I feel the same way, but why not? I really want a new bike to work on but that is so far out of the question right now that I have to do something to this one.
