I just bought a Garmin gps for my Z71, and wouldn't mind having it on the bike at least for the sunny days. Any good aftermarket mounts out there that might work for me?

sweet, thanks. That should work for what I need. Does it come off and on easy though? I hate having extra stuff on my bike when I don't need it.

yup.... easy on easy off.... I usually keep the "ball" attached to the bars, but it would only take me 5 minutes to remove it.

HD makes a mount as well. They make it in black or chrome. I've got it on my Deluxe. Works really nicely, but it's not removable.

I bought one of these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MOTOR...item1c191ef578 and mounted it to my windshield. Here's a couple of pics of how it looks with the GPS and just the cradle. When not in use you can remove the black cradle from the ball and it's pretty discrete.

I second Ram Mounts!! I've had one for at least 4 or 5 years for a gps on my old Yamaha Venture. Now I bought the camera mount, and use it on my harley to video rides. There are several different attatchments for the Ram Mount.
